Hi, I'm Andrew Rangel, a game designer with a background in Production and Quality Assurance. I've always been drawn to mystery and exploration, and I try to incorporate that sense of discovery into everything I design. My goal is simple, give players meaningful questions and problems to solve, so they learn the world they've been placed in, rather than just pass through it. I believe levels, enemies, and puzzles should work together to drive the experience forward, not pad out a runtime. That philosophy comes from a broader curiosity that shows up in everything I do. I've taught myself oil painting, carpentry, and bookbinding, and every new skill eventually finds its way into how I design games.

Unreleased TTRPG
This is an unreleased tabletop RPG set in a fantasy world, built for campaigns of any length, from one-shots to sprawling years-long adventures. Every system was designed with the goal of giving game masters the tools to adapt to any scenario and giving players what they need to bring their imaginations to life. The heart of the project is its modular design. Game masters aren't locked into one rigid system, they can pull individual mechanics straight into their existing campaigns, no matter what game they're already running.

Unreal Engine Level Study
This is a personal, ongoing project undertaken to build hands-on familiarity with the latest version of the Unreal Engine. I'm developing a self-contained level that applies lessons drawn from professional experience and insights gathered through analysis of other games. Unreal Engine's extensive asset library and intuitive tools make it well-suited to this kind of prototyping.
